hi all. i have a question on upgrading my receiver. i currently have a yamaha htr5760, and it works just fine. i'm running tsi400's, a csi3, owm3's, and r1's with it. i found a rxv2400 on craigslist for $150, that i'm interested in.
the question is, would this be a big enough step-up to warrant buying a used receiver?
thanks in advance, and have a happy new year.

Aside from the 2400 having more power and room correction,, I don't see what else you would gain. I would look for something that has hdmi, decodes the new HD formats if you ever get a bluray player.
    HT SYSTEM-
    Sony 850c 4k
    Pioneer elite vhx 21
    Sony 4k BRP
    SVS SB-2000
    Polk Sig. 20's
    Polk FX500 surrounds

    Cables-
    Acoustic zen Satori speaker cables
    Acoustic zen Matrix 2 IC's
    Wireworld eclipse 7 ic's
    Audio metallurgy ga-o digital cable

    Kitchen

    Sonos zp90
    Grant Fidelity tube dac
    B&k 1420
    lsi 9's

Your current receiver is roughly equivalent to the RX-V650. I think there is very little to be gained. Save your $150 and put it toward a future upgrade.
