HT and screen?

I may be moving to a new house and my HT will possibly be a smaller room. My current room is about 16x13 and I have a 110" screen. Any PJ owners throwing a 110" picture from a distance of 14'? I've done the online calculations, but I wanted to hear from people with first-hand experience. So, what are the dimensions of your HT and what size screen do you have?

I have a 110'' screen in my bedroom, with the projector mounted right above my bed. It's exactly 18' from the front of my projector to the screen and I absolutely love it. I know it's 4' longer but the picture never seems to big or unnatural and I think you'd be fine. My buddy has the same projector and screen in his theater room and I think his 14' and works great.

So it sounds like you can project that large from that distance? That's good to know. We have a room that was two rooms. We knocked down the wall between them and have an arch at about 12.5' away from the wall. If I were going to mount a PJ, I'd need to put it in the middle of the arch. The viewing distance is a few feet behind the arch...about 16 ft. away? Sounds like that would work.

    25 x 25 ft, 100" screen. 12 ft throw.

    B Run,

do you have a 4:3 screen? Your projector is 4:3 so I wonder about your widescreen movies....

Nope it's a 16:9 screen, it really doesn't look bad at all when I watch HD channels on cable. Actually until you mentioned it I never realized it was a 4:3 that's stretched haha.

It seems like I'll be okay in a room that's about 14'x12'. Very good to hear. Thanks for the help.
