TL Mod Question

I recently acquired a pair of SDA-2Bs thanks to a nice fellow in Indianapolis. I had planned on waiting a while before modding them, but with Sonic Craft's sale I figured I might as well go ahead and buy the parts to recap the crossovers.

I plan on doing the TL mod, but do not plan on purchasing new tweeters at the moment. If I can, I will go ahead and do the crossovers and let them start burning in, but I assume that the mod makes the speakers incompatible with the default SL-2000 tweeters? Thanks for any help.

never tried it with the "old" tweeters,,you would need the rdo 198's or sl-3000-- I'm sure that someone has tried it with the old tweets following the crossover upgrade, perhaps they'll chime in. Good luck and get some 198's

It won't hurt anything. The high frequencies with just be a little stronger.
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
