Nikon D40 w/extras

With the job situation and such, I need to move a few things that I'm not using, and this camera is first up.
A little background info on why I'm selling this:
I inherited a bunch of older lenses from my grandad a year ago, some very good glass actually. However, those lenses were older and not the AF-S type and as such did not autofocus with the D40. So, I snagged a D80 in order to use those older lenses and haven't really used the D40 much since then.
The two cameras are different enough in how they handle that I had a difficult time switching back and forth between them and just stuck with the D80. The D40 is a great camera and served me well for shooting a wedding and a couple vacations to Colorado and a trip to Yosemite last year. But ultimately I had to choose between the two cameras and the D80 fit all my needs better.
A few notes on the D40 and a few links
The D40 is a digital SLR that is targeted to the consumer market, and probably more specifically those new to SLRs, though it's capabilities are far beyond what you'd expect to find in an entry level SLR.
This is not a camera aimed at the professional crowd, but if you're a pro looking for a camera then you already know that. Don't let that designation fool you though, this is a very capable and well rounded camera, and every review I've read tends to support that point of view.
One thing to note about this camera that I eluded to above. This camera (and its successors) does not have a built in motor for lens autofocus, its one of the reasons why its less expensive and less bulky / heavy than the other models. For 99% of the people out there this isn't an issue because the vast majority of the lenses now have the focus motor on the lens and will work fine with this camera. However, if you already have a bunch of lenses that aren't AF-S or AF-I (like those handed down by my grandad) then this isn't the camera for you.
Here's a link to the Wikipedia article on the camera:
Here's a user guide that he built for the D40 that I did find help when first starting out:
- Nikon D40 Camera Body
- Nikon 18-55mm Lens (I believe it's THIS one)
- Nikon 55-200mm VR (vibration reduction) lens (THIS one)
- Camera strap
- Nikon camera bag
- Battery charger
- 2 batteries
- Caps and UV filters for both lenses
- Instruction manual, this is really more of a comprehensive guide on using the camera, much better than the folded guide that came with my D80
Price
The price for everything above is $400 + shipping. I think my price is fair based on the research I've done, but feel free to let me know if you find a better deal elsewhere.
I've done quite a bit of price checking on eBay. The average selling price for the camera only is about $280, the average price for the package with the 18-55 kit lens is $375, and I only found one listing for a camera similar to the one I'm listing here with both lenses and that was from a questionable seller who didn't include any real info in the listing and that went for $500 plus shipping.
I'm open to splitting it up if the camera sells, so if someone wants the camera and the 18-55 lens but not the 55-200 lens then we can discuss that. I want to give the potential buyer of the camera first shot at the lenses though, so I won't sell the lenses until the camera is sold.
Thanks for looking!

I hesitate to put the ken Rockwell link up here because alot of people think the guy's an idiot. I don't agree with every point, and think he takes the whole "The D40 is the greatest thing in the universe" bit a little too far, but there's still good information there. If nothing else, it at least gives you general ideas to read about and make up your own mind.

Here is another great review on this camera. It is a very good camera, as long as you have the correct lens for it.

Great camera!
and GREAT price!design is where science and art break even. -
I'll talk to my wife and see if she'd like a new camera. This is a NICE camera compared to all the one's we've ever had.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden

Does this camera have a live-view option in addition to the view finder?
-
No live view on this series (d40, d80), you have to go with the newer d3100 to get that.
The d3100 is the new version of this camera, and adds live view and (not so good) video, but takes away the wireless shutter release option which is a terrible decision by Nikon IMO, and would be a deal breaker for me. I really like having that option when taking really long shutter tripod shots to eliminate any possibility of camera shake, not to mention its nice for group photos.
The d40 has this option, and you can buy the wireless remote for about 15 bucks. -

Also, if someone is looking for more of a single, all purpose lens let me know. I have a 18-135 Nikon lens that I'd be willing to include instead of the two 18-55 and 55-200 noted in the original post.
I will point out that the 18-135mm is not a VR like the 55-200mm. This usually isn't a problem even at the full focal length, especially in good lighting, but it is worth noting.
The two lenses give you a bit more range on the telephoto end, but I prefer the single 18-135mm lens because I don't have to change lenses on the fly. I don't mind changing lenses when I'm using prime lenses because I'm usually in a situation more conducive to changing lenses, but I don't like changing out between different zoom lenses if I can help it because I'm usually out and about when using those lenses.
I actually use a 24-120mm as my daily driver on the D80, but that'll have to be pried from my cold dead hands.
So its your choice, the two listed above or the 18-135mm, either way I'll be selling the others and it works out to about the same for me. -
No takers?
I figured surely at this price with everything included this wouldn't last long. Oh well, I guess I'll throw it up on eBay later on if nobody here wants it.
