Monitor 70 Bi-amping

I have a set of Polk Audio Monitor 70's and was thinking about bi-amping them using two Phase Linear 400 amps. When I take the connector out that links the top to the bottom on the Monitor 70 inputs what speakers play on the top inputs and what plays on the bottom? I am only using one of the Phase amps right now and they have been serviced and upgraded but I dont want to burn the voice coils on the 70's by putting too much power to one speaker... I appreciate any input... Thanks...

The tweeter is on the top binding post and the cascade array of mid drivers and bass drivers come off the bottom binding posts.
