Just thought I would throw this up here as well.

Thanks for looking.

All that power and it's a krell and you can't use an aftermarket power cord?, Very weird.

    Good luck with your sale!

It's a very thick power cord and while I'd like the ability to change it out, it's one of the last things I could care less about when owning a 100+lb amplifier. The cord(g) is more than enough to handle anything that could possible be thrown at it.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Krell gear doesn't afford the option. They are particular about power conditioners as well.

    Excerpt from the Manual:

    AC POWER GUIDELINES
Krell recommends operating the Theater Amplifier Standard from a dedicated 20-amp
AC power line. The Theater Amplifier Standard should be used only with the AC power
cord supplied. Please contact your Krell dealer, distributor, or Krell before using any
devices designed to alter or stabilize the AC power for the Theater Amplifier Standard.

I think Krell tells people that they don't need anything special because the power supply in the unit cleans things up just fine. I might be confused though. Great gear you've got there.

I agree with that explanation, of which can be found in depth elsewhere. The power supply in a hardcore SS amplifier does not need a power conditioner. It's also a backdoor recommendation from John Curl in regards to the JC1. That's for another day.

FWIW, Nelson Pass has the same backdoor explanation about Pass Labs and First Watt gear.

I have no doubt H9 and only used the JC-1 as an example.

I got an email from a guy at Agon:

    "Hi Screename,

I read on the Polk Audio boards that you're selling this amp to polkies for $3000 shipped. I'm not a polkie but for that price I'd buy it. Please let me know if we can have a deal :)

    Thanks and best regards,"
