Here are some Music first subwoofers for you guys...

I have decided with the modifications to my speakers that these are no longer needed.

I have the original packaging and will gladly ship at your expense.

These use the Seas Excel 10" Woofer and a Dayton 500 watt plate amp.

The -3db on these are 22hz.

These would work great in a music first system or as a subwoofer in a system ran on a LFE output, not L/R outs - With the signal that is sent to mains they can not handle the load but put out plenty of bass with a LFE signal as it is a bit more complete and a stronger, cleaner signal.

These subs were custom made for me and I chose the woofer that is in them because the Excel woofers have accuracy and texture like no other woofer I have ever heard.

These are far more accurate than any SVS subwoofer you will hear. It is far cleaner, faster, tighter, textured than my VMPS.

These list for around $2,000.00 each - sell new for around $1,000.00

I will let these go for $650.00 Plus Shipping/Paypal Each or $1,200 plus shipping/paypal for the pair.

I would be willing to drive up to 100 miles to meet someone but the buyer would have to cover gas one way.

These are finished in a Rosewood veneer --- magnetic grills, high flow flared port, brass floor spikes, curved enclosure.

They are in great condition, the stop has some surface mars I would say - only visible when you are right up on them and I have no idea how they got there...

Forgot to mention - I will include the 8 ft power cables I made for these subwoofers --- they use Hospital Grade connectors, etc

The stock cords are still in the box in a plastic bag -- lol

I had a PM asking this and I thought I would address it here ---

Regarding running a L/R signal to the sub for movies --

Anytime I have ran an analog signal to any sub for movies vs. a digital signal - so running stereo movie, the sub never seems to like the signal.

So if you plan on running these subs in a system like mine - it is important to cross over these subs if running an analog signal as the signal does not have a good bass signal...

Now on the other hand, if you use these in a theater only setup - make sure you are running them through the LFE channel with a digital signal (HDMI, Optical, whatever) so you get the full bass signal and not a clipped, low voltage signal that does not have the full LFE effect.

I guess what I am saying is - if you expect LFE quality bass out of the L/R analog signal it wont happen, ok? lol

Even my VMPS does not like this...

Anyways - these are excellent subwoofers, but I just want to make sure the next owner understands that unless these subs are used in the LFE channel they must be crossed over if running with the mains when not being used for music so the LFE sub can do its job.

Make sense or am I just confusing people? lol

    They are beautiful!
Maybe the shipping is killing it or the lack of publicity for that product.
I don't know anyone who has owned Tyler equipment to be dissatisifed.

I like the idea of the larger enclosure. The smaller enclosures are really an aesthetic compromise that this sub probably doesn't suffer from.
Then again, maybe that is what is deterring people...

    Bump for a nice deal.

$650 each? That's a steal! Not to mention that those cabinets are beautiful!

I use the same woofers in my custom 3 way speakers. If you're looking for a tight, well defined low end, this is the ticket.

I can attest to the quality of the amps driving those subs, I use one. I can get any sound I want out of it and am able to match my sub to any speaker system.

    Thanks for the comments guys!

These subs do sound awesome and I have had no issues with them what so ever with blending in with the subs.

I just want to rock it a bit without subs and it wouldn't hurt to have some spare cash...

VMPS is used in the Home Theater ---

If these dont sell I will probably send them a LFE signal from the PE along with the VMPS and have THREE LFE subwoofers

Did I mention I love bass for movies?

You'd love bass in a vibrator if you were of the other type.
