Hey guys, got the itch to try some Klipsch's, so up for sale is a set of Rocket RS550's with riser stands. They are of the rosewood variety and are in great shape. A few light surface scratches on the piano tops, but nothing major. The veneer is in good shape too. A few small fissures, but again nothing major.

No manual, or boxes, just the grilles. Would like to keep it local but willing to ship at buyers expense.

Agon bluebook is $520 WITHOUT risers, get them here for the low low price of $425 (plus shipping/packaging).

Any questions please ask. Thanks guys! :)

I don't think av123 ever made these rockets in black. the only piano black was on the minis and it was in a limited quantity at that. Anyway, these rockets are much warmer than the RTi series. I used to own RTiA5s and to be fair, I like my RS450s much better. It has a lot more authority and weighs like twice as much, too. I think these 550s are even better than my 450s.

Thinking about trying out a set of RF35's :)

Never had anything with a horn nor the effeciency that the Klipsch's have. Figured i'd give it a try.

I think you'll like them. I'm all about the Heritage series. Big speakers, big horns.
Once I get my crossovers rebuilt, and horns upgraded to titanium, my multichannel will be complete. 99db sensitivity makes for easy to drive speakers, too.

Man you're in for a real treat. I've stayed away from Klipsch for so many years because of all the negative comments about the horn's excessive brightness. But, pair them up with the right gear and you're set for HT. These are like RTis on steroid: More clarity, dynamics, and authority. Very exciting and lively sound that makes HT a lot of fun.

They sound just as good for music too. Vocals come through with stunning clarity, while cymbals and crashes sound like they're in the room with you.
