ADCOM GFA7605, questions about ICs

I just pulled the trigger and bought an ADCOM GFA 7605. I have searched the forum for information about ICs (NAD T747 to GFA 7605). Are the monoprice RCAs any good? I'm looking for cheap alternatives. Bluejeans cable have surround RCA for about 70 bucks (five channels). Do you think it is possible to get something good a bit cheaper? I don't want to compromise the sound quality but not want to break the bank either.
Many thanks
Many thanks

I would not go monoprice RCA as they are fine build quality, but do not build them for HIFI sound quality in my opinion.
If you want to spend less than $70 for 5 channels, build your own. There are many, great bulk cables available, and the project is fun as well. Canare L-4E6S is about $0.50 a foot, and inexpensive connectors can be had from a number of sources. That was my first DIY cable, and served me well for quite a while. -
The names you will hear quite often in this forum are bluejeans, signal cable and audioquest.. Given how cheap monoprice is, you wont lose much money by trying them out, especially if you dont have time for the diy approach. When you're ready to upgrade to something nicer, dont forget to look on the used IC section on a'gon... you could score some really nice used cable for reasonable prices.Fronts: Wharfedale diamond 9.6

You want quality for cheaper than 70 bucks for 5 cables ?? Better redefine what you consider quality. I wouldn't spend less than that for one cable, but thats just me. I know this isn't a good analogy, but isn't buying cheap cables for your amp like buying a corvette and feeding it 87 octane ?HT SYSTEM-

I would go signal cables. Mention you are a Club Polk member to get a discount. Remember cables don't go bad so it is a long term investment.

I was in the OP's boat this morning, until I talked to someone at audioadvisor. I had monoprice speaker wires and was looking at the cheap line of audioquest ICs to hook up my parasound amp. He asked me what components I have, I said marantz and parasound. He then asked why did I buy good quality equipment, if i planned to link them up with inferior parts and still have inferior sound? I thought about it... and then, per his suggestion of minimum quality, I bought a pair of blue racer II ICs and (unplanned)a pair of their audioquest type 4 speaker wires. Total bill was $170 for the two pairs, I still think it's a lot, but I also think I did this once, and I did this right.
I guess the logic here is a little like: Don't buy a ferrari and run it on cheap diluted 87 octane gas, just because you think 93 premium is "just too expensive". You already blew the money on the car, do it justice....
That's my philosophy, anyway...Living Room 7.1 HT Rig:

AQ type 4 speaker wire is a good bang for the buck cable.Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. ....so was he right in his suggestions ?
If this question is for me, this happened this morning, I don't have the cables yet, so I have no clue.
I mean, it makes sense. There is a thread on this forum about how a POWER cable made all this difference... *REPEAT*...a POWER cable... so how would an actual speaker cable NOT make a difference, if a power cable does... I wanted to buy these parts once, just do it right the first time.
My 2 ch system:
sr7002 $600
1500a $400
M70s $300
Total= $1300
does it really matter if this bill goes to a total of $1500 because of good quality cables? If i could afford to blow the $1300 in the first place, the chance of having this inferior $1300 setup because of another $200 is no reason to punk out now after i already spent the first $1300...Living Room 7.1 HT Rig:

AR Master Series cables are good bang for the buck. IXOS cables are nice, too - they're popular in England.Display: Sony 42" LCD

No offense, but what cables have you tried with what gear? Again AR's suck.Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. None taken. I've tried a variety of cables with a variety of equipment including AR Master Series digital coaxial cables. While AR cables aren't what you would call high end, they perform well for the most part. For only $10 a pop, they are a bit more affordable than Audioquest or Blue Jeans or any number of high(er) end cable manufacturers, i.e., "bang for the buck".
When I first entered the world of separates, the cables I initially used to hook up my receiver and amplifier were budget Monster Interlink 100 cables and even those performed fairly well, and only cost me $20. While you certainly can get better performance for more money, not everyone is willing to spend $100+ for cables.
The original poster asked if there was a cheaper alternative and that was exactly what I provided.

Thanks a lot!!
As always cable discussions can be a bit animated
Anyway, I think you´re right. I don´t even use 87 gas on my altima hehehehe. I think I would get either signalcable or bluejeans.
Right now I use AQ G-snakes to connect my CDP, a NAD C515bee to the AVR. Do you think is it worth to upgrade these as well? I mean, if I get a set of ICs for the amp, why not get an extra pair, if is worth it.
Thanks again
