Did you get that CS2? I picked one up yesterday and it's a beast!!!! 7 3/4 should fit in an 8in space, right?
I have mine sitting above my plasma for now, makes my 50in look small.

I just hope the new series cs2 isn't bigger than 7 3/4 I can't find specs on it, I went ahead and just ordered it, I think the cs20 may have been a better fit, oh well !!

CS2 II Should be the same size as the CS2. The only difference is the Series II has a different look. The rest is all just marketing gimmicks...."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." Thanks for the info, I should have 1/4" to work with

 CS2 just came UPS dropped off and ran, box had a gash in it I opened immediately well all screws of one speaker were rattling around with speaker hanging out and one screw stuck in smashed tweeter, flagged down UPS going up the street he said manufacture defect he took it with a refusal to accept, called the egg she said to reorder and they would price match their old sale and they would credit my account when they receive the damaged speaker. I knew I would get burned sooner or later!!

I feel your pain as I bet you were itching to get your ears on it, but doesnt seem like your out anything besides a couple of days w/o the CS2. It could be much much worse, like they could have refused to match the sale price, said you broke and and refuse to do anything...ect"....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted."
