Receiver recommendations

Hey. Just got a pair of the Polk RTI a7 speakers. They should arrive tomorrow & I'm really excited!

I know my old receiver doesn't have enough **** to really drive them. I would really appreciate some suggestions. I assume I would want to go with an AVR, but I don't really know the pros and cons.

Any guidence or advice would be much appreciated. Thanks, Rob

    1. What is your price range?
    2. Music, movies, mix?
    3. What other speakers are you using? Center/surround/subs
    4. What sources are you using? Do you want/need HDMI?
    5. Do you plan on upgrading with an external amplifier?

    If you can give us that info - you'll see about 1000 people storm in with suggestions :)

    If not - we can just toss out some stuff.. like go get a SC-25 Pioneer Elite hehe.
