Do you know these tube amps?

I'm curious if anyone has experience with QuickSilver M100 tube amps. There are two monoblocks local to me, and was wondering what you thought. Also, anyone have an idea on a fair price to offer?
Thanks,
James

Basically, I'd love to just get a review...what I can expect, etc. My 2 channel gear is in my signature, if that matters. Dependable and rugged are good qualities. What about sound quality?

Well,, lets see,, a very liquid midrange,,highs are very smooth but not bright, certainly not rolled off ,,if you are a basshead then these are not for you, with the bass being tight,,fast but not bloated..damn kinda sounds like a speaker review eh?,,they are very fast amps but without a an overly tubey sound.Only thing,, they work fine with some tubed pre amps,,and others,,not so well,,,I much prefer these amps with a 6sn7 based tubed pre. Also,,if you get them,, put them directly behind your speakers with a short speaker cable.I have owned mine for 3 years, and they have been the most trouble free and dependable tubers that I have ever owned,,pretty easy on tubes too.I would suggest that you audition them with your pre if you have the opportunity. Good luck.JC approves....he told me so. (F-1 nut)

Take your pre and pop over there,,can't hurt. The KT 88's will give you better bass,,my M-80 monos are EL 34 only,,those would not hurt you too much when it cames to tube rolling-you should give them a listen- let us know
