A while back my dog put her paw on the remote control and now, no sound. Dont know what she pushed and I have tried every button on the remote but there is no change. It isn't muted, and the volume is up just to get those answers out of the way. I read when I searched for it that someone else had the same problem but no one on that site had responded. Has anyone else had this happen and fixed it? How? Thanks.

Maybe try contacting Denon and see if they can help. I'm guessing the maker of the receiver would know what button to push to fix it.

Are the speaker outputs engaged?

I was thinking that same thing. Look at the Denon display for the letters A or B--should be on the left mid to upper side of the display. It's possible ALL your speakers are OFF!
If that's not the case. Check your manual and perform a REBOOT. Find out where the 'restore defaults' menu item is! If both fail....time to call Denon or send it out!
Good Luck.
