Bi-amp SDA1C

Apologies if this thread already exists. I want to use one amp for the tweeters and another amp for the rest of the system. I have SDA 1C. I would like to retain the stereo dimensional array aspect of it. Anybody done this?

How are you going to do this with one set of binding post??

I've tried this with other speakers and it wasn't worth the trouble IMO."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think it's even possible to bi-amp 1C's. They only have one pair of binding posts.
You'd have to rework the crossover and add a second pair of binding posts to make it work...and I personally wouldn't really recommend doing that.
What exactly are you trying to accomplish? More power? If so, getting a bigger amp would be your best bet. It costs a lot to properly bi-amp a pair of speakers. If you really want to do it right, you've gotta use external crossovers in front of the amps...it can get very complicated and expensive. The nirvana inducer-

Agreed too. It may benefit you if you have some monster sized speaks with alot of drivers that soak up the current, but otherwise, waste of coin.HT SYSTEM-
