OK guys I bought a upa 5 to go with my pioneer elite 01thx that I bought yesterday .I now need another 3 channel amp for the front sound stage
This 3 ch will be the most important as I plan on using it for music in 2 ch music .Does any of you guys have any recomendations as to what I should go for? . I just got a tube amp for 2 channel a couple of weeks ago and love it so I am running low on funds and need an amp that has the same kinda value performance you get from polk speakers
I am not fussy or snobby so somthing used and reasonable will do .
I hope all my future post arent going to be ignored for turning to the dark side of the force but like I said its just going to be used as a surround sound amp for the back 4 speakers

I"d buy a 2 channel amp for the front and use your unused 5th channel for the center.

New or used? What speakers will you be pushing with it? As far as 3 channel amps go, I've had an Acurus 200x3 in the past. Should be able to pick one up for under $500. Currently using an Aragon 8008x3 which is a beast as far as 3 channel amps go. Might be a little harder to come by, but will be in the under $1000 range. I can heartily recommend either of these.
