If it is of any concern, I understand B&K just ceased operations.

Recently received the B&K 7250 I just bought. Does B&K amps run warm/hot. It runs noticebly warmer than my adcom and sherwood newcastle. Just wanted to know if something might be wrong with it before I tell the seller everything is working right.

I have the 7250 in my HT and it does tend to run warm. It has been like this for the past 10 years and has caused me no concern.

Thanks for the Info. I am enjoying just got it yesterday. Wanted to see before I pulled the trigger on the B&K 2220 2 channel for my fronts. This is my first dip into higher end amps and I want it to be a pleasant one. Its amazing what these things still sell for even being 10 years old.
