I just posted the following over in the Flea Market forum:
Just so everyone will know, I just completed a Flea Market deal with steveinaz (I purchased his Cambridge Audio D500se CDP). A very smooth transaction. Everything happened exactly as agreed upon and very good comunication. There was a potential issue (ended up being an non-issue) and Steve was immediately willing to make it right if need be. As far as I'm concerned you can deal with Steve in total confidence.

Based on a couple of recent cases were there have been problems in Polk Forum deals, I thought it might be a good idea to give some positive feedback for the benefit of forum members who may have an opportunity to do business with the following individuals:

(FORUM USER NAMES ONLY)

steveinaz

dholmes

TroyD

fgr41

woodyjacobs

In each case the deal was completed in the agreed upon terms, in a timely manner, with no issues whatsoever. I would not hesitate to do another deal with any of these forum members.

I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

    Great Idea!
Bought my lsi9's and my ASL tube amp from Hoosier21. Both transactions went smooth as silk. I would do business with Hoosier21 in a heart beat.

I've had some great dealings with a few members.

Russman - great seller and giver
    ATCVenom - great seller
    George Grand - great seller

    Gishme (?) - great buyer

    Hoosier21 and TroyD:
While I've never actually bought or sold anything with either member, both have helped me to obtain things that otherwise wouldn't have been possible

    Thanks to all.

I can't recall buying anything from these guys, but they have been great buyers:

    Gidrah - great REPEAT buyer

Troy - same deal, and he is very understanding of the thing his wife and I have for each other. Also stocks excellent rum (Appleton Estates), and doesn't get all cranky if you drink the whole bottle on him.

Russman - great repeat buyer, and we've swapped items too. I almost screwed him with the Adcom GFA-545 he has for sale right now. VERY understanding on that one. I think he's understanding cause I still have stuff he covets.

MadMax - knows good sound when he hears it, and is a great buyer.

Peter "Life is Suck" Ng - Good buyer, even after we ALL tormented the **** out of him.

The Gill Man - Great buyer and another good ole boy from Tejas.

The Brothers McGowan - Most of you missed out on these two brothers from upstate New York. Bob and Mike ate, slept and **** hi-fi, especially Polk SDA. Sadly, they are long gone from this forum. Bought, sold, and traded with both of them.

Wango Tango/Audionutt/LilDog - GIGANTIC SCUMBAG. Break his knees if you get near him, then call me and I'll send you a Christmas card every year till I die. If I get near him I'll do the same for you.

If I omitted anyone I apologize, cause my brain isn't what it used to be... or could've been.

    Spastic,

Don't post stuff like that. I ship immediately also, but only to people I know intimately or have done business with before. First timers may get their feelings hurt if they don't get the same treatment.

Brett threw you a nice compliment by doing that.

Brett 22 is a great seller!

After making the deal to sell me his china he found that the excessive shipping cost made the deal pretty worthless. He still followed through with the sale and shipped the merchandise without question!!! His packaging was truely awesome as well. It had to take a lot of time to package so well. I won't forget that I owe him one.

Right back at you, polka. Nice little Hafler deal.

Also did a tweeter deal (as in SL2000T's for SL2000's, not the stores) with Russ, and fronted a M-400a for TroyD.

Also did the record brush deal with izafar...

Just completed a great deal with Ken Brydson. He's really the first person I've delt with in a buying/selling sense. Transaction (if you could call it that.... not much money involved) went flawlessly. The head unit sounds great, Ken!
