Forgive me if I posted this, but I can't find that I did. Meant to. Hey, I'm pushing 60 pretty hard.
It is 170 watts x 7 channels. The only issue I have had with it is that I could not get the on screen menu to come on for set up. After some education from Denon, that problem is solved. This is cosmetically in great shape and there are no functional issues that I have found. I have it listed for $800 (dropped from $950) on Audiogon and $750 on Craigslist as I would avoid shipping hassles.
I will offer it here for $700 plus shipping (from 66217)...it is heavy and although I have original box, it will need double boxing and extra padding. Original manuals and remote. Around 60 pounds. This is all part of the slim down. I found a nice 20 watts per channel Phillips.
I have shipped some heavy stuff before, including a Parasound 2205a, so I will do a good job.
PM me or email at mms3rd@hotmail.com
Thanks.....Mike

I have found a couple rigs I like but need to sell the Denon to make it happen.
$700 shipped to CONUS. Shipping will easily be $60 depending on distance.
Thanks...I can't go lower than this and the price is way below blue book.

A very nice piece and Denon quality before that declined (see mantis's discussions on that). I'd add that this is a Japanese built piece that oozes quality and durability. I know my 'lesser' made in Japan unit has been pretty bullet proof!
You also, probably have, mulit-channel inputs for an SACD player or Blu-ray that decodes HD-audio formats internally!
Great price for a monster receiver! Good luck with the sale!
cnhCurrently orbiting Bowie's Blackstar.!

Yes, it has multi-channel analog in which I use for my OPPO BDP which decodes for me...thanks to the folks on the board, I knew to wait for the OPPO and it has been superb. The unit is also great for 2 channel and has a bunch of features to enhance pure analog audio production....Denon's website explains all of this.
Thanks for the endorsement.... -
OK....I've found some other equipment I would like to get...changeitis not upgradeitis....would probably be a downgrade....(as Michael Stipe sings, "Our wants and needs have been confused.")
anyway, I can go to $675 shipped to CONUS. After that, my loss is too painful...if no takers, Stubby is trading me some Monitor 5jr's for it.
