Hey guys! So I was browsing CL for an amp between $200-$300 and I ran into an AVR-3300 for $100. It's the cheapest surround receiver with a full set of preouts that I've seen yet and the extra power would be very useful. Is this a good deal or should I pass?

I just unplugged mine after 12 years of yeoman's service, yesterday. It never gave me a lick of problems and only replaced it because it does not have HDMI or decode the latest and greatest Dolby/DTS soundtracks.
Beyond that I was completely satisfied with it.
Hope it works out for you.

I have one still in use in the bedroom. Nice sound, solid build, reliable. The only problem I have with mine is fan noise. Its not constant, it comes on and off and its quite loud when it come on. Mine might be unique in this problem, but I wouldn't be surprised if others do it too.
