Selling two pairs of monitors in Indy.

First is a very very nice pair of M5s with SL2000. Play great, look as nice. Walnut finish.
$40.
I just "grabbed" them off CL last week and had to replace 6 grill pins and clean up some velcro on them.

Second is my "old faithful" Monitor 7s with Peerless tweeters. Sound fantastic with average to better than average looks. Light scratches but very presentable in Rosewood finish.

I have duplicates on both of these and desperately need the room for working.

Paypal fine or cash is great. Well worth the bucks in both cases.

Pics later if requested. They're buried in my spare bedroom.

Harry

I'll ship if necessary or even "strip and ship" if requested. I need to move out about 25 pairs of speakers. It's to the point of "can't walk" through the office apt now.
It would be tuesday or possibly wednesday before I could ship as it's the first day(s) I would be free to have the time to properly pack and ship.

The drivers on the 7s are already JB Weld'd but the 5s will need done IF I ship.
I'm not trying to make money on them and just want to break even and pass some nice old monitors along.
Naturally I would prefer pick up on them. It takes a while to build styrofoam protection and NEW boxes to ship them.

If the 5's are close to living room quality, I will jump on them if you can ship to 66217 (Kansas City). I will pay the 40 and shipping costs. I have gotten several pairs of 5's and 7s and even 12s and never had a problem with shipping....not sure what this Welded thing is.

I too have duplicates but want for presents....spread the joy!

The M5s MAY be spoken for. I won't know for sure for a little while. "WE'RE" waiting on WIFE APPROVAL. It's only a 50/50 shot at best but I told him I'd hold off a couple of hours.
Definitely living room quality. Excellent condition.
I put JB Weld every 120 degrees on all sections of the magnet structure and to the frame to make sure the old monitor MWoofers don't shift or come apart during shipping.

My apologies, I missed your post. It's a zoo around here lately.
Which were you interested in? 5s or 7s?

Theil 1.6, Klipsch KG.5, KG2, KG 3, JBL J2050 new in box, Some old Heathkit towers with the Philips drivers, Altec Model 5 and 7,Wharfedale W90D, for right now that's about it. I'll sell more as I can get to them.
I'm doing a Craigslist dump today also. Getting rid of some receivers, amps, preamps, etc. Just too much stuff laying around in the way I'm not using or haven't been using in months.

Good Lord. Thats a lot of stuff. I might possibly (pending accountant approval of course :)) be interested in some of the electronics.....

I do need to make time to come listen to some of your stuff (specifically the SDA's since I have heard their sound is legendary and unique). My only fear is that it will start me down the path of the "SDA" and that path ends in really really big speakers and potentially really really mad wives. It must be navigated with much care :)

Too much stuff and it's Going Out the Doot as quick as I can find new homes for it.
Vintage Sansui Quads, Pioneer, Kenwood, NAD, ADC, HK, Tube stuff out the wazoo, and I don't use the stuff anymore. I love having it and IF I had a huge barn to store it I'd keep it probably. I have stuff that hasn't been fired up in years I'm going through right now and sticking it on CL.
I am in the "Clean House" mode big time and I'm going to try not to buy anything else for quite a while.
That's my problem. I can't hardly resist good audio gear and it just sits around after the "NEW" to me factor wears off.

"Wife approval"?? I need to have a talk with these Polkies....keep your own account....tell your wife what you are getting...no asking...does she ask about that lamp she just bought? no.....Do you have a man cave or a sissy cave? Do you wear your panties or go commando? Do you skip the ribs to have a salad with the pink sauce?

OK, you know where I am coming from......Fred Flinstone

Yeah I see some of it already posted on craigslist lol....

Trust me I will be in that mode soon, however it wont be electronics going but wedding stuff that is in my office crowding it up. Making room of course for speakers and electronic gear, but the wife doesn't know that part yet.... :)

I have a Bottlehead foreplay using a pair of 12AU7s that sounds great. It was the $389 kit 3 input model $200
Also Conrad Johnson SC22 Fet Preamplifier. $225. It's actually mine but belongs to a buddy. We're in a trade deal right now.
He said it's had phono issues but I hooked it up to a MC cart and sounds great. I haven't hooked it up to a mm cart yet.

    It's the 3 output..

Sorry for the dusty pics. I hadn't planned on offering it up until tomorrow or monday.

Dual volume control, center mode switch, on/off, and the uppers are to the amplifier.

It's never been permantly mounted to the factory base. I had it in a control center I made for my system for quick change.
