I spent my weekend cutting down trees...mostly hardwoods which will make great firewood when it dries up a bit. Only catch is you need to pick it up and split it after if dries. PM me if you are interested...:)

Actually, I brought 2 stumps into the house last night...they make EXCELLENT speaker stands!;) -
WOW , hardwood is 300 to 325 a chord here in Ontario! (4x4x8 ft) real nice!

Bump...more trees came down yesterday, including 1 big oak.
If a Polkie is interested, I can load up my Pilot with wood and you can meet me at the North end of ATL airport to pick up at my place of employment. -
wish it was in NY....
my wood burning stove cuts more than half of my heating bill. -
This is very nice of you. I know a lot of people who burn wood as their primary fuel source. I only use it for casual fires in the fireplace or outside bonfires. Unfortunately I am too far away.

wasn't someone looking for some wood in the wtb section? maybe it was a **** site or even in the personals, i don't recall.
actually, i can't wait to beat the heat. i'm looking forward to lower electric bills and being able to use the fireplace and outdoor firepit. love getting toasted and then staring into the embers, flames and little "sparkies" that fly into the night sky.
