Turntable AudioTechnica-LP60--bargain price

This modest turntable has gotten pretty favorable reviews. I bought it to record some 45 yr old LPs my mom wanted transferred to Cds (my sister said it couldn't be done....harumph)....
I played about 4 sides of several of the LPs and they were just too scratched up to be worth copying. Instead I downloaded a bunch of MP3's and burned those to disc...she'll never know the difference if you don't tell. Total hours--maybe 2
I paid $73 plus shipping from Amazon. Link below.

A review, albeit short, is here.

This DOES NOT have the USB connection of a later model. It does have an adaptor to plug into the line in on the computer and it does have a built in preamp.
I am no judge of the quality of the phono cartridge or stylus... long time since I was into turntables...this is modest but serves its purpose.
Will sacrifice for $60 shipped to CONUS.

have him buy it then! -
Thats not gonna happen! His wife is a major "B" and tends to keep his "jewels" in her purse. It was just an old Mitsu LT from the mid 80's.
They had borrowed it for a good while. Around a year or so. I asked about it one day and he said he would look for it. A few days later I was told..."put it in the basement in storage awhile back, now I can't find the damn thing". --Gary--

Do not lend money or valuables to relatives,it causes amnesia. If you can't hear a difference, don't waste your money.

No, I won't pay someone to take this incredible piece of audio technology.
