remote help

denon av 3300 just purchased with no remote and none available new. any guidance on a reasonably priced universal or learning remote or whatever would be appreciated.
between direct sat remote and front panel buttons i have it sounding great but if an aftermarket remote would really let me get to some of the functions, i would LOVE IT. thanks. specific or general advice about aftermarket remotes would be appreciated.

    Not sure what your budget is or what you mean by reasonable. I would recommend looking at Logitech - I own the 880 - the Harmony One will be my next purchase. Amazon.com has it at $173 less rebate. If you don't need RF then its this one:

    the aftermarket remotes such as the harmony, or like one i saw on remotecentral i believe that was specifically to fill in for the discontinued manufacturers remote. are they able to actually perform most or all of the same customizing functions that the manuf. remote did.

    Yes the Logitech database for components is pretty deep - the buttons are customizable to do virtually everything the oem remote would have.
