Visual tube microphonics

I was watching "Deep Purple Live In Concert 72/73" on DVD; in the liner notes it states:

Note: The Copenhagen film contains occasional horizontal lines on the screen. These were caused by concert audio wave pressure levels interfering with the tube camera pickups, referred to technically as 'microphonics'.

    Excellent!

    When bad rectifiers arc under load in my tester, the resulting EM field wonks out the very simple microprocessor, resulting in "egyptian" test results on the LCD screen.

    Speaking of rectifiers, are you familiar with a plug in solid state replacement for tube ones? In my past research on Hammond organs, it was suggested that this was a good alternative.

    Sorry, I'm not. I would see if Craig @ NOSVALVES would simply take receipt of the amp in question and repair it.
