I have a NAD T750 surrround receiver, running with Monitor Audio Silver Series 7i towers. I want to add some surround speakers, and I,ve been looking at the LSi7's. However it says in my manual from NAD that the surrounds should have 6 ohms minimum. Since the Lsi7's, and I presume the LSi9's also have only 4 ohms I guess I can't use these speakers right? Any suggestions?

Probably not a good idea. You might want to consider the Rti series instead.

Agree... 30 wpc to your surrounds is a tad light weight for lsi's.

i think you reciever is somewhat a conservative amp.

i mean if it is true that ioutputs 30 watts to the surround, its just enough to make those lsi 7 sing.

30 watt at 88db sensitivity =103.5db at 3-4 feet placement away from the wall.

but pls remember to match your speakers!!!
