Anyone familiar with the unit?

I remember it driving my dads speakers at crazy volumes back in the day, but he hasn't used it in years and it's one of the pieces he's letting me have. Can't find much info on it. It's a nice looking piece, lights work and everything but says a channel is out. I'd rather spend time with family than look into what's wrong with it so I'll do that once I'm back in CA.

I really dig the front meters, I remember staring at them when the stereo was rocking the house when I was just a lil chap lol :D

Btw, it's an integrated amp. Online I read it's conservatively rated at 100wpc, elsewhere I'm reading over 200 wpc so I'll just assume it's the lower of the two. It's big and has some weight to it though. I dig the old vintage gear, especially the stuff made in Japan.

    Yep, that's the one.

Like I said, something about meters :p

It's going to be the start of my secondary rig. I'm thinking I'll look for a pair of old Polk Monitors for it :D

Lol ah thanks for looking out Mike but Harry had emailed me about them. I'm keeping a tighter grip on my money these next few weeks so this secondary rig will come in slowly. I'm really looking into getting a digital SLR camera, so unless something comes up on here for a steal of a price...I won't be buying it :p

if memory serves me correctly, that unit was actually out of a rack system from Fisher. I think the specs on it were from 40-20,000 hz also.

My brother got me a Nikon D3000 last Chrissy. Just what I needed, another hobby. :p

    Have fun, bro.

Ha, that's one of the reasons why I'm telling myself why I shouldn't get one!

Eyeballing a Canon Rebel EOS Digital SLR...either the XS or the better Xti

    LOL

That's a nice looking piece of gear Tony! Funny thing is I've talked to that person before. 95% of the time they post junk but that's actually a good looking piece of gear. What they do is go around buying stuff from flea markets/etc. and he/she resells them on Craigslist. They've been doing that for a couple of years now.
