I'm really just looking to trade this thing for a pre/pro, so I can purchase an amp later down the road to get back into separates but will consider selling it.

As you can see, it's in immaculate condition with the exception of 2 really small chips/scratches?

Here are the specs as posted on their website -

• 3 digital inputs: USB/Toslink/SPDIF digital inputs
• Decodes mp3, mp4, flac, AFF, wav, plus all others
• Tube pre-amp section
• 50 watt per channel high current A/B amplifier
• 2 analog inputs
• +5dB, 55Hz bass EQ for small speakers
• Detachable power cord
• Multi voltage switchable toridal power transformer
• Preamp Stereo output for additional amplifier or subwoofer
• Remote control
• Slot in back to hide Sonos® ZP80
• 15"W x 5"H x 14"D 22lbs out of box, 24 lbs in box

Currently powering a pair of Paradigm Phantom towers, and boy does it make these speakers sing!

Few things about it, the previous owner had an issue with the volume pot rubbing against the front bezel. Unit was sent to Signalpath where they fixed it for free, threw in a brand new tube and shipped it back at their expense! The original tube will also be included (not sure how many hours are on it) but the current tube has approximately 100hours on it, all of which was done by me. The remote is currently MIA, I'm sure I'll be able to find it it's just that I use a universal remote. I will also include a Shunyata Diamondback Venom power cord instead of the stock cord.

Will come in original double box, as well as manual and RA form from when it was sent in (dated 04/09/10).

Any questions or comments, please feel free to PM me.

Asking price $425+shipping (if paypal, add 3% or use gift option), but would prefer a trade instead.

Pics coming right up...

Btw, did I mention the built-in headphone amp is amazing in this thing as well?

No one's interested in an awesome little integrated? Can also be used as a preamp or DAC+preamp (built-in DAC) which is what alot of people use this as.

So how does this work with the USB out of a computer? Does it play nice with Media Monkey and accept anything above 16/44.1?
HT: Ninja Master LSi9s, Ninja Master LSiC, Slightly Modded LSiFXs, Modded LSi7s, Outlaw LFM-1 EX and Polk PSW125

    2 APC H-15s and a Panamax 5400 for good measure ;)

Via USB I believe it only accepts 16/44.1 and below but I'm not completely sure.

I have no personal experience with Media Monkey, but I could try it myself and tell you how that works out. I've used this on 3 different computers running Windows Media Center, VLC Media player, older media players (for mkv files), WinAMP, and the default music player on Fedora and Ubuntu (Linux) and it always worked out perfectly fine (I listen mainly to FLACs but I've got mp3's/WAVs/wma's as well).

Heh, I do but I figured it'll only leave me if something else came in. I'd hate to sell it before buying a new piece of gear, but you're right I love this thing. Be surprised how beefy the amp in this thing is, or how music played back from my PC sounds :D

Well now that I have an audience, I certainly will :) I saw a guy who goes by the name of Bolder Cable post that he changed the caps in the signal path and power supply and upgraded the op-amps. I plan to follow that general principle. Will replace all the power supply caps with panasonic FC caps, and all signal path caps with sonicaps or black gates. It has TL082 op amps, which I will replace with something like an OPA2604, and the cheap bridge rectifiers with fast recovery diodes. Thats the general plan. It will be slow because I do not have a schematic, so will have to trace the circuit.

Hell, looks like I'll be shopping for caps once I get back from Texas (leaving tomorrow for a week).

Wonder if Signalpath would provide a schematic for the Decco? Their CS alone is top-notch.

I don't know where you're at in Chicago, but I just listened to one of these at a place in Woodridge and I know they will let you take them home for a demo for the weekend for free. If you wanted, once you're done with the mod on yours I'm sure you could grab theirs for the weekend and check it out.

Hello, I wasn't able to send you a PM so I sent a message to your email last night. I figured I would post here also, however. About how much would shipping cost for this item? Would you consider $425 shipped? Send me a PM and let me know, thanks.
