If so what model do you have, what can you do with it other then playing music with it?

    No one? I know Ted wouldn't use one, But Steve would. :) I installed some RC65i in my master bed room I like to fall asleep with it. I use a IPod as a music server to these speakers. Be nice to have something in the wall for the house stereo system. But can an old model do it? Do I need IR control? Should I get a video output also?

    Well, I always stay away from Mac products (absolutely hate them) but figured I'd look into it for ya anyway. :p

    What model do you have exactly?

    Checking out the site, there are various models with different features such as 2-way communication between other components, another one adds IR remote capabilities and such.

    I'm looking not too spend $$, I looking at some new but the older models. So I trying to see if IW1 would work ok. Gives me music output, where the IW2 gives me IR controlling. The IW5 would give me video output, but not sure if it's worth too me. Or if I would kick myself later if I didn't spend the extra money.

    You've already got a computer, why not go a different route of streaming music through the house? All can be done wirelessly without the use of an iport/etc.

    I don't care to have a computer to it. Ipod has really sweet options where I can take music with me also. Now I saying music in the back ground, when you're doing something else Driving, Sleeping, Working.
