SDA-SRS vs SDA 1.2 how to tell

Does anyone know if there's a way to tell the difference between the first generation SDA-SRS and the 1.2? From looking at the driver table it seems like the only difference is the dimensional MW's and the crossover. There's a pair for sale on CL in my area (actually mentioned on another thread here), and even though it means risking divorce they might be too good a deal to pass up.

Anyway, is there anyway to tell the difference without opening them up, and does it even matter, assuming everything is in good working order? Is the 1.2 with the dimensional MW6511's head and shoulders above the SRS with all MW6503's?

Thanks!

If they have a blade/blade connector, it's definitely non 1.2 (SDA SRS), 1.2 would have pin/blade for the interconnect. Most other differences would be internal.
