Anyone own one of these....looking to buy one for my son, even though he only needs to walk 20 ft. to use my rig, he wants something for his room.

My main concern is build quality and reliablity over time. I am tired of buying cheap crap that doesn't work after several years...:(

    Are you talking original, or ES2? The originals were awesome, but not the last word in reliability (mine gave out after about a year of light use). The ES2 has gotten good reviews, and bonus - no moving parts!

    You can't beat the sound quality for that size of package.

    No moving parts in the ES2 sounds like a plus to me...too bad I never see these come up on Polk Direct (or do they?)
