(I moved this over from the original post to make sure it "counted" as required for confirmation:))
Here's a link to some photos with the new NAD amp.

As you can see, my wife has not forgotten that 'dorm room' look (that I like most guys felt comfortable with all those years ago) that she has sworn not to let me repeat. Still, she's allowed the turntable and when Polk did their cherry wood thing, I was back in business and those little Bose things went quickly to the bedroom. I won't mention where she's made me hide the surrounds ... suffice to say the dipole feature is a big plus.
Though it's just been a day or two since installing the amp, I now consider myself a disciple of of the tenets for more clean power!

Thanks for the kind remarks, gentlemen. Much appreciated. Those amp pics (for me) is kind of like raising the hood of your old car to show off the newly bolted-on 4 barrel carb - cool stuff!
And as much as I want to talk about how cool the amp is, it has to be said that what it really has done is push those Polk speakers to a point where I'm blown away! I had no idea these A7s had the capacity to perform at the level I'm hearing now.
Not being an audiophile with the listening experiences to reference, I'm just beginning to appreciate what Polk has put in the market at this price point.
Should also mention the improvement in cinema. While I don't think the difference is as dramatic (as with CDs) with the BluRay movies, it is certainly an improvement.
Still haven't got out the vinyl yet ... but will soon.
Wish I had all the descriptors in my vocabulary to better communicate what I'm hearing. Until then I'll just say it made one he_ _ of a difference for the better!

Congratulations Dave, and those of us that have had the same experience as you know EXACTLY what you are hearing!
Before anyone upgrades their speakers, they should upgrade their power first. Nine times out of ten, they would forget about getting new speakers after hearing what their old ones actually sound like.Marantz AV-7705 PrePro, Classé 5 channel 200wpc Amp, Oppo 103 BluRay, Rotel RCD-1072 CDP, Sony XBR-49X800E TV, Polk S60 Main Speakers, Polk ES30 Center Channel, Polk S15 Surround Speakers SVS SB12-NSD x2 -

Grats on your equipment!
Another NAD enthusiast had posted, "Go NAD" on another thread! Guess we have several cunning linguists on the board.
And thanks for the grats. No doubt, the Polk speakers that brought us here really come alive when given enough power. Or should we say, "properly stimulated."
