How many watts does this thing have?

I found a Archer 15-1279A Surround Sound Amplifier in the crawlspace today. I don't have the manuel so don't know any of its specifications. Can anyone tell me how many watts this thing has.
Main System:
Denon AVR-2805, Polk Audio RTi70's, Polk Audio CSi40, Polk Audio FXi50, Paradigm PW-2200 v.2, Toshiba 42XV545U HDTV

    That sounds about right, I bought one 'back in the day' when prologic hit the shelves, returned it after 1 movie, and went back to 2ch.

    I hear ya Russman, the unit is not very good, especially at high volumes. At low volumes it isn't too bad.:rolleyes:

    Salvagable perhaps, is there a 'bypass' switch on it, or some such?

    I have an otherwise USELESS Audiosource pro-logic processor, with built in amp and volume control. I actually use it as an integrated amp in the garage right now, with the bypass switch engaged. 15x2, and I can only connect 1 source to it - but its still useful in that manner. Works well for a garage or pc rig.

    If yours does the same, find some older cheap Cerwin Vega, DCM, or what-have-you speakers that are on the efficient side and go to town with a cheap cd player.

    Something to let you run the single input (processor loop) on the back of the thing DIRECT to the on board amp.

    I can't remember if it had that feature or not...

    If you can easily hold it in the palm of one hand, and then just as easily toss it across the yard like a frisbee, it's about 10 or 15 watts per channel. Just like mine.

    The suspense was KILLING me, so I just had a look. Mine is the Archer 15-1278 VIDEO Sound Processor. It's going to be the same thing. 10 or 15wpc. You're supposed to use it in conjunction with an existing 2 channel amp, by way of the amps tape loop. It's only supposed to drive the rear channels. It can easily be used to drive a modest 2 channel garage or office system. Play around with it, you'll see.
