Audessy Calibration

I was wondering if one could still use The Audessy calibration once you've gone to seperate Amp, I wouldn't think that you could hurt anything, but you never know. Just hooked up XPA-5. I couldn't find anything in the Onkyo manual. so I am seeking some added clarity, no pun intended

How does the Onkyo/Emotiva combo sound with the Polks? I'm running a TX-NR1007 with RTi70 mains and a CSi40 center, and though my little 9.2 setup sounds pretty damn fantastic as it is, I keep thinking that an XPA-3 would probably be a solid improvement, especially for music. Just curious how the character of the sound changed for you guys.Equipment list:

Polk RTi70 mains, CSi40 center, RTi38 surrounds, RTi28 rears and heights

I got my XPA-5, last Monday, but had to wait til Friday for my RCA's. I hooked it all up and I noticed more power, not necessarily better sound until ! set it up with the Audyssey, nowit sounds a lot better. I played some old Fleetwood Mac and Joe Walsh, Eagles. Old tunes I knew pretty well, and yes everyone was right saying to go seperates I am pleased with the new soundOnkyo Tx-Sr 876 reciever
