Hi all..

For sale is my first tube preamp. It will come with the stock tubes, as well as upgraded Sylvania tubes that I purchased with it. It functions perfectly - the smallest of scratches on top. I will upload pictures ASAP.

Description (Xiang Sheng 728A)
New Siang Sheng 728A Tube preamp. 6n3/5670 x2, 6n11// 12 au7 X2, 6z4x1, 6n3x1 tubes. I got two for Christhmas. This has 4 sets of inputs and two outputs high and low. The front has tone and balance controls and a bypass switch. volume and selector knobs.

    I'm not sure what you mean...if you're referring to my preamp, it has NOT sold. The listing I copied was from the last one sold on audiogon to show the price of 285 plus shipping without the extra tubes. Again, the preamp is still available.

    So sorry for the delay. I have the worst timing with camera issues. I will HOPEFULLY get them up later today. In the meantime, a small description. The face, from left to right has the power button, a window with a tube showing (For the coolness factor, and it works), has three buttons for tone controls - Treble, Bass, Balance, a BYP button which I assume is for HT bypass, the volume and the selector switch. There are four gold jacks in the back. There is no phono section. What I like about this preamp - it is very sound controllable, and good for tube rolling if you are new to it. With trying different tubes, and the tone controls, you can really control the sound in various ways. The power cord is upgradable, but it looks very solid on the unit, and it's pretty solidly built. I will attach some standard photos of it here until I get the actual photos of mine. Remember - only flaw on mine is a small scratch on the top of the unit toward the front left - hard to see unless you are standing at a certain angle. Everything else is perfect.

    Unit is powered on in each picture. A few members have listened the unit in action. Maandjojo (Joe) has heard it in action with my Polk SDA 1C's, and Backtothe80s (Bruce) has heard it with my Sony's.

    PLUS - If you're local to 08043, and want to do a local purchase, will have it plugged in so you can listen before you purchase, and I'll include a Denon DCM-340 5 disc CD Player. Just add an amp to your speakers and you have a GREAT beginner 2 channel setup!

    I ALMOST sold this local, then the scum of the earth showed up. I'm lowering it again because I want to sell this to a Polkie who I know will enjoy it. It really is a very nice sounding entry level preamp. If you are local, the same deal goes - it's hooked up, and if you buy it local, I will include the denon 5 disc CD changer. Price lowered because I am selling this to fund another purchase.

    265 SHIPPED. You can't get a quality tube preamp lower. Remember it has upgraded tubes in it as well as stock tubes.

    Someone please buy this. The seller of what I am buying is ready to do the deal.
