Any feedback or experiences on which of these Power Conditioners would be a better fit for a Home Theater System? (quality, durability, value, features, price)

Thanks for your insights...

I just purchased the APC H15 and have nothing but good things to say about this unit. Quality feels top notch for that price point, extremely durable, the price I paid was an incredible value and it has all the features one could want for most H/T applications.
The dimming feature is really sweet.

No experience with that particular Belkin, so I can not comment there.

I have the APC H10 and it is great, I live in an older place and with the certain combo of equipment on, the APC kicks in and ups the voltage as required.
It instantly cleared up my cable tv signal but not sure what it did for the sound as I had also made some minor changes to my system at the same time.

I know the APC H15 has more features then the H10 but they operate on the same premise.
Plenty of hook-ups and receptacles on the back, sharp design. In my opinion the voltage control is an advantage over the other brand as it allows for voltage sags & swells.
    Higly recommended!

Anyone here use the Coax/RF connectors in the back?

(having a line from the cable box and the out to the tv?)

wouldn't this weaken the signal since it has to pass through the box?

I am using the coax (into house) from the cable provider to the APC H10 and then to the providers cable box and I thought it may not work good or it would make the signal weaker.
I tired it and it greatly sharpened the SD channels and improved the HD channels!

Ric, did you compare the APC when you were researching the Belkin?
    HT in Progress
    Receiver - Harmon Kardon AVR520 5.1
    Fronts - Polk SDA 1C
    Center - Polk CS350
    Monitor - Sharp Aquos LCD
    NMT - Mede8er500x
    Cables - Signal Ultra

Yeah, I looked at a lot of protectors, the Belkin has a higher joule rating, plus you can monitor each bank independently, or as a whole. Even has a reset fuse. Plus it also has a front outlet, which comes in handy. so a total of 13 outlets.

    what is insignificant though?

more than 4 watts is significant to me, because i'm in the northeast and electricity is expensive... and i have alot of other devices drawing idle juice 24/7/365.

I posed the question to Belkin, I'll let you know what the response is.

B&H has it for 209 free delivery. You have to add it to your cart to get the 209 price!

I got the H10 two weeks ago, it is the lower model of the H15. I paid 199 and now they go and lower the price of the H15! Bad timming on my part! :(

    They are nice pieces!

I didn´t want to create a new thread about this, but I´m looking for a surge protector. Been thinking on the belkin PF30 and the APC AV 15 Amp G Type Rack Power Filter. How do these compare to the PF60 and the H15? Any suggestions in this price range, 100 dollars more or less??

    thanks

Well of course it does, unless it's powered off. Nothing to even worry about and I got a big chuckle about your "4 watts is significant" statement.
