Well, if they both come I will give them a discount when sharing the bedrooms with me. :p

Seriously though, send them the link and if they find an opening that matches your schedule, have them mention CP so I can apply the discount.

Have a nice trip Aaron! Let us all know how you like it when you get back.

If anyone else wants to go, I could use a nice preamp and/or amp for my SDA 1C's, other than that cash is always welcome.

Enjoying the warm Pacific weather right now. Updated pictures to follow shortly. We drove through Mexico (Nuevo Laredo - Monterrey - San Luis Potosi - Guadalajara - Puerto Vallarta) without any problems. Long drive but it's always fun after you get to Monterrey, plus we had quite a lot of gifts with us so flying was not an option.

    Merry Christmas to everyone!!!

Can you imagine how badly that would turn out? Cage 15 Polkies in a swanky location, no reigns, no rules....heck, we'd end up on MTV.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Can be easily arranged, if that's a serious idea. If you want to make it a Club Polk trip with or without spouses just let me know and I can make all the arrangements. Ours has two bedrooms with max. occupancy of 8 but there are some 3 bedrooms as well, and I think the penthouses are 4 bedrooms but there aren't that many of them and I would assume they would be quite pricey to rent.

CP April special, $600 a week. For single CP guys wanting to party, I can make a meet-up deal and break it up for $225 for a bedroom spot and $150 for the living room couch.

Summer is hot and humid, winter is the peak season with Canadians escaping the cold weather. We rent it year around, it is available whenever we aren't vacationing there. Just let me know when you would like to go. I am escaping the hot Texas weather to Silicon Valley tomorrow morning for a week (business), then 3 weeks to Finland (vacation) so there won't be much vacation left for us to visit PV this year.

Reviving an old thread. I got rid of most of my audio and HT gear when we moved to Florida and now that we are getting a house it's time to get back in the game. The good news is I will have a dedicated HT room but the bad news is cash will be depleted so I can't justify HT gear.

You have upgrade bug and wife wants a vacation? Talk to me and maybe we can find a solution for the problem!

Ideally I would like to find at least a set of speakers but an amp would be nice too. If you have extras left over from an upgrade that you are trying to sell, or are thinking of upgrading I could trade for time at the condo for them. I thought if the significant other is not letting you upgrade the beach vacation might change their minds... :)

Cash is always welcome for rentals but I can honestly say the cash would be used for other upgrades on the house like hardwood floors.
