Up for grabs is a pair of used SW150 15" passive radiators. From what little I know about these is that they can be used in all the big SDA's SRS 1.2 and 1.2TL models some had metal slugs like these others didnt and to be honest I dont know how that would change the sound for better or worse more or less bass.

I do know these are practically impossible to find, Polk doesnt make them anymore and there is no NOS left in their inventory. These are marked 1986 and they did come from a pair of very trashed SDA SRS orginals.

There is a stain of some sort on one of these and a couple of pits, I dont know what it is perhaps some type of clear glue? I know soap and water hasnt touched it though.

Toucanet will get first dibs on these since he has expressed interest earlier in another thread.

$350.00 for the pair + shipping. payment via USPS money order or PayPal
Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

They are pretty rare. Good luck with the sale.

P.S. To keep my comment from being completely off-topic, are you selling your drivers too?

Yes I may be selling some other drivers later. Here is few more pics of the one that had the stains on it I managed to get it cleaned up pretty well, but it still has a few marks/scratches? and pits that the other one doesnt.

A suitable replacement is being engineered by Polk Audio but that could be quite some time. If you need one bad, you should have spares.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Good to hear that Polk is working on a replacement, that should make a lot of people happy. The currently offered pair is not anywhere near mint but they do work well and the blemishes are almost if not completely impossible to see more more than a few feet away even if you are looking for them, the pics were took at a distance of roughly 3 feet and if you leave your grills on unless you have x ray vision you wont see anything :p

The current price is "OBO" I truly dont know what they are worth hence the the reason I started a thread on getting ideas of the value, nor do I know what replacements originally sold for so basically I have nothing to go on so if someone wants these make an offer.

I am offering these up simply because even though I have SDA SRS 1.2 TL's I dont have kids or pets so the likelyhood of the ones I have of getting destroyed is practically nill and at least for the time being they are practically impossible to get unless you buy another pair of speakers.

Toucanet has passed on these at the offered price and I have sent him a PM telling him to make me an offer but no response as of yet so these are available to everyone.

A lil bump to the top. Dont be afraid to make an offer on these guys you wont insult me no matter what the offer, I will just simply enjoy a good laugh if it is something ridiculous like twenty bucks :p

If you don't have spares, you SDA wallflowers better start thinking about the bigger picture.
