Southern California Adcom Service???

Hello all. Recently, one of my Adcom GFA-5500s has been acting up. About three to four seconds after I turn it off, I get the "deadly thump" through my speakers. I know enough to know that speakers don't like this.
That said, does anyone have any suggestions as to where to take it. I've found a few Adcom authorized service centers fairly local, but I'm looking for individual input as well. (I have another amp to use in the mean time, so I'm not in too big of a hurry.)
Thanks all.

John,
I've had great success with the repair tech I met on Craigslist awhile back. He used to be an ET for Fisher, Sony and Tweeter. He's repaired 3 amps for me and does quality work at very reasonable prices. He's in San Marcos so you'd have to either ship or make a trip down from LA. As long as you can get the schematic, I'm sure he could fix it. Let me know if you want his contact information.____________________________________________________________
