Solid State Power Amplifier Question..

Out of curiosity, do solid state power amplifier degrades in sound quality over time? is that plausible?
When I said sound quality, I meant something along the line of perhaps slight harshness in the top end (kinda qualitative observation). This is a purely hypothetical on my part.
Or is it more like, if all of the (multi) channel levels are equal, it's either on or off (per individual channel) proposition.
TIA

I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

No sure but it seems that the caps have a limit to their lifespan and it's usually one or the other in a pair that starts to loose outut capacity. If it goes bad over a period of time vs just a sudden failure, I suppose you might notice a difference in the quality of the output.____________________________________________________________
