Ok...I know there are a lot of Bose haters in the world...me being one of them. However, I'm looking to see if these are a good deal and if these are REAL 501 Direct/Reflecting models.

Thanks,
Jason

Thanks for the clarification. That said...still a good deal? They are in perfect shape according to the seller. I'm ok trying out some Bose speakers if they're cheap, and if this seems fair.

I like how the ad says "they are typical Bose quality".

How true of a statement that is.;):p

I've heard the 501's on a number of occasions. They're an interesting sounding speaker...but nothing to great IMO.

Not a fan of anything less than a 901. Even then I sold them because they were too hard to get setup in the room I had them in.

i have a pair of 301s and they sound really good for the price, of course they are not even close to my lsi 9s or 7s but they sound better than my monitor 40s. i say go for it, you might like them.

I think I would not personnally spend that kind of money on such speakers. However, it is priced at 350$ pair and reviews are in the area of 3.5.

    Cheers!

I bought them. Got em for $125 and they were in perfect condition. Not one cosmetic flaw. Do they hold a candle to my LSi's in my HT...course not, but for the money and condition...great value. Would I have paid retail for a pair? Course not. ;)

i like mine, using them for my computer, i know people here dont care for them but the ones i have had sound decent, as long as you stay away from the acoustimess crap, not up to polk quality sound but not to bad. as long as you dont pay that much for them. for $125 i would buy em. just dont pull the driver and look at the crossovers and you will be ok. trust me its better not to know.
