NAD'ers pearsal, kex, hearing impaired, et al,
looking at swapping my 60 day old 755 for a 765 to have the MDC upgradeable architecture. can get my full 755 purchase price applied to an demo uprgradable 765 plus approx $300. the 765 would have full NAD warranty. price doesn't incl am100 nor vm100 modules which make the 765 a 765HD though. not a big deal to me today but thinking i may like the idea of getting new formats, processing, etc down the road. like but your thoughts on whether I should pull the trigger or not. thanks, tim
Thanks!

Well I'm not familiar with the 755 but the 765 is as ballsy an AVR as you are going to get at its priced point. I love mine, it shakes the house and is easy to setup. So . . . .

Thanks, appreciate the help. think you hit the nail on the head wrt piece of mind. just off the phone with Saturday Audio and made the deal. they are top notch guys to deal with. packing the 755 up tonight and shipping tomorrow; should have the 765 later this week. basically, i'm paying for ability to upgrade in the future, as power difference isn't much different, 140W @ 7 ch vs. 100W @ 5 ch; 7 vs. 5 ch; and a few extra inputs/outputs and what-not functions. Can get $100 off the modules whenever also but again, not worried about that now.

i've never regretted investing my money into NAD, so, i'll think I'll be able to sleep ok ;)

    thanks again for input.
    Thanks!

Solid move...you'll love the T765. I like the idea of being able to upgrade with the modules but for now the T765 fits every need I have at the moment.
