This place seems to shine on the wealth of advice for used 2 channel gear so I was hoping you guys could share some of it with me

What pre and amp combo iunder $1000 could I get to use with either my RTI8 or ML source se ?

What would be a decent cdp around $400 with a good analog signal path

I have my eye on what cables I want from previous posts

'''''' just made it in time to edit"""""""" Even just listing one used component can give me a price point of what to look at for future reference

Thanks polkies

New or used? Used, check out the Cambridge 540/550 series.

Look at HK direct on ebay for a 2 channel receiver they really have plenty of power, and pre outs if you want to add an amp later. If you shop smart you can get a good deal.

It's not needed. HK is one of the few companies left that still make a solid 2 channel receiver. Most of them are real good high currant designs.
