Skywire Audio Speaker Cables

I am selling this pair of 3m speaker cables out of their SE line because sadly, my new amp only accepts only banana plugs (these cables have spades on both ends). The cables sound great and are very well made. They connect well with their stepped spades (but apparently not to my amp) and have sonically matched well with all combinations of equipment I've tried. They will be shipping in original packaging with factory documentation. If you've ever wanted to try the great combination of silver coated copper, this is your chance!

Termination
∙ Gold plated spade or banana connector
Construction
∙ Multi strand silver coated pure copper conductor for low loss
∙ Pure *Teflon dielectric insulation
∙ 100% Braid shield for maximum resolution and dynamics
∙ Patented noise suppression to reduce ringing and RF
Sonic Characteristic
∙ Unique design lowers the noise floor for focused, detailed sound
∙ Best in performance for the price

Give it some time, zingo. Sometimes it takes more than a week to reach a prospective buyer. Keep bumping it every couple days and sweeten the deal with more discount as you see fit.

Thanks for the vote of confidence!

    Audio Problems In Cables

Skywire Audio discovered that many of the problems in audio cables are the results of Radio Frequency (RF) noise and ringing in the cables. The ringing is caused by RF reflections from the ends of the cables at the fundamental and harmonic frequencies. Since the RF is above the audio band, it does not show up in normal audio band test measurements and is ignored.
    Source Of RF Energy

The sources of the RF in the system include being conducted in from the power lines, received from airborne radiation (radio stations, wireless telephones, etc.), and internally generated within the system. All digital circuits create megahertz square waves which generate broadband RF.
    Skywire Audio Solution

Ringing is easy to change and hard to kill. The technique that we use to reduce the ringing is to put highly efficient RF absorbers around the cable. The RF absorbers kills the ringing that builds up in the cable.

The RF absorbers are metallic and do not contain any ferrite. We have found that the use of ferrite is not sonically desirable in the application. Ferrite tends to cause a dry analytical sound and thin out the higher frequencies. Skywire RF absorbers are the key to the sound quality of our cables and are covered under US patent.
