Speaker weight for top of TV.

I currently have my center speaker (27lbs) mounted with this shelf on top of my Sony KF-50WE610 TV. I haven't had any issues at all with the current set up. But I'm looking at a new center that weighs 39lbs & was wondering if it might be too much weight for the center span of the TV. What do you think?

    Do you see any geometric distortion in the image? Any bending of the cabinet? If not, then don't worry.

    No distortion in the picture image or bending of the cabinet (my biggest concern). My friend had a newer Mits RPTV & his Energy speaker bowerd the cabinet from the weight of it. I'll assuming that I'll be alright with the heavier speaker. Thanks
