Rattling speaker

There is something rattling in my right SDA 1C speaker when I turn up the volume. I've opened it up and cannot find anything loose inside. The speakers are sealed with Mortite. I am at a loss on what it could be.

Are you sure it's not one of the drivers themselves?
I believe someone once had a piece of bracing come unglued and start rattling as well.Ludicrous gibs! -
Could it be the internal wires? Mine were rattling against one of my MW's.Stan

Did you check all the screws for tightness? Are any of the screws stripped out? Check the screws for the XO's as well.
Are you using banana connectors? If so, make sure the nuts on the binding posts are screwed down tight. They can rattle a little bit if they're loose.
You might want to check over the XO's as well, and make sure there's nothing loose there.
Also, are you sure it's the speaker itself, and not just something else near the speaker? The nirvana inducer-

I figured out what it was......the speaker cabinet it rattling. If I press as hard as I can with my hands on each side the rattling stops. I am thinking that the glue on the inside has deteriorated ant that is causing the problem. Has anyone had this problem before? Any help or suggestions on how I would go about fixing this.Onkyo TX-SR703

Not saying that the cabinet itself isn't the cause here, because it could be, but I don't think your diagnostic method necessarily rules out other options. Pressing on the cabinet like that could be putting enough pressure on a driver or XO to prevent it from rattling.Speakers: Polk LSi15
