DSD+Dolby PLIIx not working

I listen to SACD with an oppo 980 connected to a Yammah 863 via an HDMI cable. I have been able to select Dolby PLIIx as additional surrond processing to get the subwoofers into the two channel mixes. I recently rearranged the room and when I reconnected everything - I can no longer get this to work.
Is this an HDMI version issue? or could there be another problem? I have tried a few different HDIMI cables with the same results.

check your settings and make sure nothing from the rearrangement didn't change. its sounding like something got reset and that you would have to correct it.

not a set up issue - I did double check though. the only thing that is different is that the surrounds are now run off a sepperate amp. they were run off the receiver previously.pop
