RTi70 Question

I have the opportunity to get some RTi70's. My wife doesn't like the idea of our new born knocking my RTi38's down from the speaker stand and said I can get some floorstanding speakers. Do you think the RTi70's will be ok with my current setup for mains? I guess I could just adjust them (turn them down) via speaker calibration. Or should I get some smaller floorstanding speakers like the R30's or R50's? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

To quote my wife when she read your question...
"Geeze, How big is this newborn?!?"

The 70's will work nicely, go for 'em!

    Chris,
I know how you guys feel, I was so damn paranoid about stuff like that when my kids were born. Hell i even crawled around my place to baby proof every thing that I could!

I gotta tell ya, You've got a beautifull child, you should be very proud.

Congrats from my wife and I!

I'd say go for the RTi70's.. it will kick the other's in the butt.

those 70's will work well with the rest of your speakers better than the R30's or R50's I think.

Congrats on the baby. very cute. ;)
