For your consideration....
For all you Carver nuts out there....be the envy of the tribe!
This is a fantastic sounding unit, the phono stage in and of itself is worth the price of admission. It sounds VERY VERY VERY similar to the Sunfire tube pre which I owned for quite awhile (and was twice the price)
I would rate this, conservatively, as an 8/10. Clean as a whistle inside and out. Brand new quad of JJ/Tesla 6DJ8's installed. I doubt you will find a cleaner example and I also have the original box/packaging, manual as well....
Were I not funding a couple of other projects, I assure you that this would NOT see the light of day.....
My price to you is 675, shipped, lower 48. I'm not desparate to sell it and considering the condition and so forth I'll say that's a firm price. I assure you that you will not be disappointed.
Also, I don't have a digital camera on hand...so I don't have pictures, however, as always, if you purchase and feel that I have misrepresented the condition...send it back and I will happily refund your money.

I haven't really bought equipment in a long while. Everything I buy I fund through selling soemthing else. I'd have to sell a lot quickly to purchase this

C19 is one heck of a tube preamp. Your right on with the phono pre also with this unit.Klipsch The Nines, Audioquest Thunderbird Interconnect, Innuos Zen MK3 W4S recovery, Revolution Audio Labs USB & Ethernet, Border Patrol SE-I, Audioquest Niagara 5000 & Thunder, Cullen Crossover II PC's.

With new tubes, I don't think your price is too high Troy. As a proud C-19 owner, I can highly recommend this pre. It's worth every penny of the asking price.

I agree, skip. I wasn't really expecting to be bowled over by this....I've heard MUCH more expensive preamps that didn't sound this good....which is one reason I'm not giving it away. But, the fact is, I've already got a Manley and a Melos. How many preamps does one guy really need?

I have seen this pre go on ebay for way more with not as good of tubes in it. I had this in my rig for a couple of weeks, I was amazed at the sound quality. Some interesting features. That "Spacial" adjustment is cool.
