Kenwood KRF-V7772 Dolby-Digital. A version offered to the military only, this thing is gorgeous, in the original box w/packing, and a space age keypad remote with owner’s manny. No HDMI or anything like that, it’s too old. It has real 20-20k response specs that are pretty respectable distortion-wise. This tells me it was before the area from 40Hz to 20Hz was lost on most “affordable” Japanese DD receivers. Probably about ten years ago. It does DTS and all too. $75

TUNERS
Fisher Radio Co. R-200-B Just about a museum piece with original box and packing. The fascia is silver, but case is black. The previous and only owner other than myself, wrote his name in black magic marker on the top of the black case. You have to look at it in the correct light/angle to see it. This is the only flaw. Stereo signal meter and backlight both work, red stereo indicator light works. Not a scratch on fascia. No backlighting on the actual tuning dial, I’m not sure it ever had any. Manufactured from 1964-1967, I can verify this was not used after 1971, and perhaps as early as 1968. $150

Holy Cow!!!!!!! I wish I were closer.
My checkbook is glad I am far from you.:) -
Additions:
Onkyo TX-7000 stereo receiver. 90wpc, this is an absolute size/weight monster like the Yamaha. Fascia is gorgeous, a little white paint is speckled on a small part of the vinyl top. An industrious person can remove this with no ill effects I'm sure. That person is not me. The AM antenna is broken off as well. All lights and meters work. $150
Arcam "Alpha" integrated amp - 40wpc. Gorgeous, slim profile, detachable power cord.
Arcam "Alpha" tuner - Gorgeous, slim profile, digital, detachable power cord. To be sold as a pair with above for $125 local pick-up. Make a great desk system.
Denon DCD-900 single-disc cd plyr - Scratched to hell on top, but works flawlessly. I used to have it laying around for a test machine, but I found a NAD 512 with no visual display to take its place. This would make a great garage/workshop machine. $15 -
Is that the "plain" Arcam Alpha tuner or the Alpha 2,3 ect....?

I owned a pair of those Pinnacle Classic Gold Towers, very nice speaker. That tri-duct bass arrangement (along w/dual 8" woofers) makes those pups put out some seriously low bass. I believe they are in the high 20's at the -3dB or -6dB level. I think new retail on those was $1095/pr--someone needs to snatch them up.Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Source: Rotel CD14MkII CD Player - Speakers: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2

And a pair of Dynaco A-10's that aren't really A-10's. These are from the Panor age of Dynaco. Rather than being a 6" vented two-way in a respectable size box, these are TINY vented two-ways w/4" woofer. Labeled Dynaco A-10, so you have to watch out for that. In all fairness, these little cabs are like bricks. I knew Panor put out some speaks under the Dynaco name around 1990, like the GMoAS (Great Mother of All Subwoofers), which I believe was a passive 18" job, but I didn't know about the repeat model #'s from the real Dynaco speakers.

Oh boy I would love to own another Yamaha CR-1020 again, just wish NJ bordered OH!
Lots of goodies, good luck and good thing you are not local to me.

I have a JVC XL-R5000BK Multi-Disc CDR, black original box, with remote, sitting in my closet I bought it brand new from circuit city like 10 years ago,and I know what I paid for it so the asking price is killer...
-
Good morning, George. Can you give me a total for the--
Sansui receiver shipped to 45365?
JVC XL-R5000BK shipped to 80863? Did you figure out if the remote is there yet?
Thanks a lot.
Tom"Don't forget to change your politician. They are like diapers they need to be changed regularly, and for the same reason." -
I'll take a look for the remote. What are those zipcode locations?
-
Thanks, George. As usual, a flawless transaction.

Free bump, too, for the for sale thread of George of the New Jersey Grands."Don't forget to change your politician. They are like diapers they need to be changed regularly, and for the same reason." -
I'm not local but I'm interested in the "Pioneer EX-5000 Dynamic Range Expander - $15 and black" and possibly the Denon DCD 900 as well, if you might consider shipping them. I'm going to send you a PM with a question or two.
Jason -
For you Jason, anything.
Thanks Tom, it'll be flawless when those pieces reach their destinations. -
Yeah, I jumped the gun a little bit. I'll let you know when they arrive."Don't forget to change your politician. They are like diapers they need to be changed regularly, and for the same reason."

Interested in Pinnacle PS-5 5 1/4" two-way overachievers
Pinnacle "Classic" Gold Spkr Package (Two towers and matching center channel) - $300/set. With (matching?) but still don't have enough posts to PM. I am looking to replace a pair of wall monunted Visonic David 8001s from the early jurasic era in a 16 X 32 open kitchen/family room. Would love to actually enjoy my music collection although my family usually asks me to turn it down. Coming up the pike on Sunday -
pm me if you want
-
Are you interested in all the Pinnacles, or just the PS-5's?
Should be a rainy day schedule for me on Sunday. -
Sorry to be such a newbie, but it looks like this is one serious dude, so maybe someone else will chime in and tell me, I cannot google any infor on the Pinnacle PS-5, but the Classic Gold sounds like enough to rock my world. Missed out on some Polks earlier today at around 200, but sounds like spending 3 on these will be well worth it. Anyone willing to guide me on filling in a 16 x 32 fairly open room with these this?
Thanks. -
-
You can add a vintage Marantz 2235B with wood case to the list. Totally functional, couple lamps are out, FM signal strength/FM Stereo Indicator. FM definitely comes in stereo. Wood case in very nice shape, metal grille too. Silver fascia is perfect. I can't remember if these came with clear, plastic film, fascia guards, or if this guy fabricated his own. It is still in place protecting the fascia, and completely removable. Volume knob seems to be the slightest bit out of perfectly straight. Heaviest 35wpc amp I've ever had. $150 local pick-up only.
-
The Pinnacle PS-5 is from a long time ago. Ten or twelve years at least. They were not in any way part of the Gold line as the towers and center are. They would make a nice little pair of surrounds though for that particular system, although they are not black.

If you'll ship to us I'd really like to get this for Johnny's rig. I know shipping won't be cheap but he's been wanting one for a while. Thanks.

George- You may actually have the Pinnacle PN5+, which is a truly amazing speaker for what it is. If I recall they are relatively inefficient, but the angled port "fools" the enclosure into believing it's larger. Surprising amount of bass out of these classics. I'd love to have a pair for a PC rig, as there is not much to them size wise.

I'm pretty sure I'm on the bozo list. Could someone tell G I would like to buy the Paradigm Titans. Paypal is ready and I'll pick them up next weekend.
Thanks. -
They are indeed PN-5+. All the Pinnacles have the angled ports, it was their forte, and ingenious. The towers as well.
Kelvin, I'll have that thing out of here by Monday morning. -
pm sent on Pinnacle "Classic" Gold Spkr Package

I will be bringing Pinnacles back to DC tomorrow evening. If anyone needs "shipping" on prohibitively heavy stuff, from George to somewhere between him and DC, I'll consider it.
