Polk Rti8's $350 Cherry

I am selling a cherry pair of Polk RTi8's in cherry color. I bought these from Quest for Spound just outside of Philadelphia for 370 dollars about 3 weeks ago. I have the boxes for these still in the minivan, meaning I could ship them if someone wanted them. I do not know the cost of this, but could figure it out if someone wanted to know. One of the speakers has some some scratches and the criss cross pattern in the grill has a small split in it, but it is hidden by the grill cloth. None of this damage is really noticeable, and from the look of the box, happened in shipping at some point. The other speaker is perfect. The scuffs are only cosmetic, and all of the drivers are perfect.
I had planned to keep these for some time as they look beautiful and sound just as good, but I was able to get a pair of Sony SS-M7's which have been on my wish list for a while. (These were designed by a former Polk engineer for Sony)! They are way cool, sound incredible, and will be with me for quite a while.
The second and third thumbnail is of the scuffed speaker. Thanks...Jim C.
I am in Philadelphia, and could meet someone within a 40-50 mile distance to deliver the speakers.

Hello,
Great speakers! I have a set and recently asked about resale of the RTI8s and was told closer to $200. Polks outlet store is selling Black refurbs for $350 and not long ago was selling cherry 8 for I believe $250.
I know you havent had them long and paid $370 for them but you may want to reconsider your price or try Craigs list or other options too.
Good luck and not degrading your product, just FYI

I may have spoke out of context here, I apoligize, I was comparing my 2 yr old speakers to your 3 week old "new" speakers?
They are a great speaker and at $350 there are a great Value.

good luck with the sale, but question are those Sony's pretty good then? I wouldn't think any sonys would be better than polks RTIa series.. but that's just me.Main 2ch -

No,
You guys are cracking me up... and no you did not insult me in any way for comparing yours to mine. Even if you get the refurbs from polk, the shipping will take you to my asking price. I think it is over a hundred bucks, and then you trust your stuff to fedex or ups. I promise to deliver mine safely in the back of the trusty Toyota minivan for up to 50 miles for free. (I will even wear white gloves)
I will not be insulted to hear a lower offer in a PM. Since I got my Sony SS-M7's, I have not been using them anyway. I still have the Ls-70's as well gathering dust.
I am trying to talk the misses into letting me put then in the bedroom, but she said maybe..(read no).
Jim
Coolsax, The sonys were designed by a former Polk engineer, who is still vice president of engineering for the company that owns, Boston, Marantz, and Snell. They are the some of thebest speakers I have ever owned to this point.
